NEW MANAGING EDITOR (6th February 2023)

We are delighted to  welcome Dr Matilda Greig as a Managing Editor.  Dr Greig is an Historian at the National Army Museum, with a particular interest in the cultural history of war in the nineteenth century. Her first book, Dead Men Telling Tales (Oxford University Press, 2021) explored the history of the wave of military memoirs written by French, British and Spanish veterans after the Napoleonic Wars. She completed her PhD in 2018 at the European University Institute in Florence, and then held research and teaching fellowships at Sciences Po, University College Dublin, Cardiff University, and Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona, before joining the Museum in autumn 2022.
